Transcribe! is a useful and reliable software which can help you create a piece of music for an instrument that is written to be played in another adaptation. The usual way is to copy the music to cassette and then listen repeatedly to each bit of the ear and brain to figure out what is going on. Unless you have perfect pitch, you also need to consider a piano or guitar in hand, to take into account is which. However, if a copy of the recording to the hard disk as a sound file, you can use Transcribe! instead of cassette machine and the piano. Transcribe! offers many features to make the job smoother and easier transcription, including the ability to play music without slowing down the pitch, and to analyze chords and show you what notes are present, aligned. It is important to understand the transcript! not try to do all the work, the processing of a file and output audio notation - that would be nice, but a research problem unresolved. The spectrum analysis feature is very useful for processing this hard to hear the chords, but you still have the ear and brain to decide which of the peaks in the spectrum of notes played are not more harmonics, and just the result of noise and broad-spectrum instruments such as drums. If you never have a single piece of music then worked transcription ear! probably not going to help (see How to Transcribe), but sometimes the recorded music by ear then Transcribe resolved! can be much faster and easier work. Transcribe! not interested in MIDI files - these already contain explicit information about what notes to play and when, and there are many programs available that can display this information. Transcribe! deals with data files to audio. Transcribe! Play and record audio files, but it is not an audio editor. It is able to apply different audio effects to change the speed, pitch, and EQ. You can save the modified audio to a new sound file if you want.
